If you enjoy working at your own pace with instructional support, you can purchase a proven book coaching kit from this site. The Complete Book Home Birth Kit is produced by Mindy Gibbins-Klein, the UK-based ‘Book Midwife’: Mindy is a successful book coach, author and publisher and has helped hundreds of authors over many years publish their non-fiction books in the fields of business and personal development. The Complete Book Home Birth Kit includes email support from Mindy, and extra support is available from Bev Ryan, should you require it.
BOOK COACH/MENTOR:
Invest in one or more book coaching sessions with Bev Ryan, publishing project manager and founder of the Women’s Publishing Network, to discuss how you can apply the entrepreneurial model of self-publishing in your business or career. You will get your thoughts and ideas in order so that you know where you are heading and what you want to achieve with your book. Even just one three-hour book coaching session as you commence your book will assist you with any or all of the following:
- who wants what you have, and where are they
- clarifying which book to write first so that it serves you best
- identifying your unique message and offerings
- planning and structuring your book
- a publishing timeline
- who is available to assist you.
$120 per hour. Includes a follow-up report. Meet in person or via Skype or telephone.

WRITING/PUBLISHING COACH:
You can access further coaching sessions as required, to keep you moving through the book. Monthly meetings are recommended. Regular meetings will assist you with
- accountability and action
- feedback and assistance with writing
- cover design and copy, as well as layout concepts
- website & online presence
- print options.
Ongoing writing and publishing coaching sessions will help you stay motivated and on track as you progress through the self-publishing process.
AREAS we can help you with:
* Overcome procrastination and self-doubt: plan time for writing, confidently find your unique voice, overcome the new-writer fears and wobblies.
* Planning your book as part of your business/career: establish the purpose and structure of your book, break it down into achievable bites, write those bites, meet your deadline.
* The business side: your book cover, title, sub-title, blurbs, endorsements, website and marketing material must all be carefully planned to attract readers and sales.
* Establishing yourself as an ‘Expert’: build a speaking business around your book: we will assist you with topic ideas, planning AND promoting yourself as an ‘Author and Speaker’ to get you started.
Aus$120 per hour – request a session length to suit your needs.
MARKETING MASTERMIND SESSION:
This is a two-hour marketing ideas session with Bev Ryan to come up with various ways to promote yourself and your book, and to tap into Bev’s vast network of respected people of influence, gathered through her career and business networks over many years.
$200 for 2 hours. Meet in person or via Skype or telephone.
Includes a follow-up report with ideas for media coverage; speaking and article topic ideas; suggested contacts, actions and resources etc.
