BEV RYAN – Guest Speaker

Career transition coach

Introducing authors at the Gala Book Launch of 'Women on Top'

Book coach – non-fiction

Founder, Women’s Publishing Network

Contributing author & publishing manager: ‘Women on Top – against the odds’

Are you looking for a warm, natural speaker for your event: one who your audience will readily identify with, and who will inspire you to go home and get writing … or painting, or creating your own opportunities?

A self-confessed ‘work in progress’ Bev Ryan generously shares her expertise and experience, weaving in her own journey from frustrated single mum to an award-winning publisher of a national magazine and winner of a national yacht race – both without prior experience – and her current work with independent authors and career changers, assisting them to express their true purpose in their work.

Bev is a reliable, generous and professional guest speaker: her presentations are useful, informative and free of hype, and she is happily available to guests before and after her presentation.

MORE ABOUT BEV

Bev is a Profiting from your Passions® Career Coach and works with people facing similar career crossroads, assisting them to identify, love and profit from engrossing work, either in employment or their own business, or both.

From left: Bev Ryan (publishing manager), Sally Healey (author), Jacqueline Parker (contributor), Lois Frankel (guest speaker & international author)

She is also a Book Coach working with independent authors writing non-fiction books to transform their business or career. Bev founded the Women’s Publishing Network in 2009.

Bev managed the production and launch of the book, ‘Women on Top – against the odds’ in 2011 and was a co-contributor to the book,  along with Lois P Frankel, international author of ‘Nice Girls Don’t Get the Corner Office’.

The Queensland Rural Women’s Network has also recently invited Bev  to join the board of the organisation for the July 2011 – June 2012 period.

In 2006, after a mid-life career change, Bev founded ‘Honestly Woman‘, the award-winning national magazine for entrepreneurial women, and co-founded the not-for-profit organisation ‘WomenRace4’, for non-sailors seeking challenge and adventure. The inaugural team went on to win the Cruising Division of the 2007 QCYC Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race, and the organisation continues to race every year!

The key to her achievements? Realising:

  • just what her hidden gifts were
  • she didn’t have to be superwoman to achieve a dream
  • support makes all the difference.
